Why VERA picked it
We were drawn in by the setting alone: a canopy of hydrangeas and roses turning a simple terrace into something quietly theatrical.
A terrace built for lingering
Step off Boulevard Francis Meilland and you find a covered garden terrace, its awning strung with hanging baskets woven through with roses and hydrangeas. Wicker chairs and crisp white cloths sit beneath the greenery, with stone tiles underfoot and lamplight for the tables.
Green from every angle
Planters of hydrangea and climbing foliage line the space, softening the boundary between terrace and garden. It has the feel of a room grown rather than built, shaded and layered with plants on every side.
Where it sits
Brasserie Biscuit is on Boulevard Francis Meilland, in the Thuret–Francis Meilland pocket at the centre of the Cap, a quiet stretch away from the seafront bustle.
