A small café with a big heart

Evelyn Priesch opened Nomads six years ago with one idea: a place where great coffee and good people come together. The name says the rest – baristas, travellers and locals, some in Antibes for a morning, some for years, all at the same small bar on Rue Sade.

The coffee

The beans come from CoffeePirates, the specialty roaster in Vienna, and they change with the harvest: chocolatey lots from Colombia and El Salvador for espresso, a floral Ethiopian that works both ways, bright Kenyan and Honduran coffees for the filter – and, when it is in, a Costa Rican Geisha.

Croissants and pains au chocolat in the morning, cakes and pastries through the day – with vegan and gluten-free options.

The beans are sold by the bag, from €13.90 for 250 g – the Geisha costs more. Ask the team which one suits the way you brew at home.
