A beach close to town

Royal Beach belongs to the Royal Antibes, the hotel on the seafront where the old town gives way to the road to the Cap. The beach lies about 80 metres from the hotel, on the bay of L'Ilette, a five-minute walk from the centre of Antibes – and it is open to outside guests as well as residents.

Loungers are spread between the sand and a secluded raised deck over the water. On a clear day the Alps show white beyond the bay.

Lunch facing the Cap

The restaurant looks straight across to Cap d'Antibes. The executive chef's menu keeps things light, with Italian notes: salads, carpaccios, fresh pasta, fish and meat. There is a lounge for cocktails or coffee, with bossa nova in the background, and the team will bring food and drinks to your lounger.

Dinner is served only in high summer, on certain evenings of the week; lunch runs daily through the season.

Arriving by boat

If you come by sea, the beach can send an inflatable to collect you from your boat and bring you back at the end of the day – on request and subject to availability.
