The setting

Port Gallice sits at the entrance to the Cap d'Antibes, a short walk from the pine grove of Juan-les-Pins, facing the bay of Golfe-Juan and the Lérins Islands. Its white, minimalist buildings and planted quays make it a garden-port, and it takes boats of up to 44 metres. The port in its present form was inaugurated in 1967.

The spaces

• The reception room in the north building: 107 square metres for up to 100 people, bookable for a full or half day, and suited to meetings, seminars and training.
• The green terrace on the roof of the north building: 403 square metres with a panoramic view over the bay, for up to 150 guests, reserved for exhibitions and cocktail parties.
• Quayside space and hardstanding can be arranged on request.

Equipment

The room has reversible air conditioning, 80 chairs, a flip chart and whiteboard, an overhead projector and a microphone with sound system. There is a public car park at the port.

A port with a conscience

Since 2021 the harbour has hosted Biohut nurseries that shelter young fish, and five eco-friendly beehives now stand on the site; the honey is sold at the port office. The quays are being raised and replanted to add greenery.
