A new chapter

Villa Miraé is the new name of the former Impérial Garoupe, a few minutes from the beaches of La Garoupe. It belongs to Inwood Hotels, a French group of 13 hotels from Paris to the Riviera, and is a member of Relais & Châteaux. For the 2026 season its outdoor spaces were entirely reworked, with the stated aim of slowing guests down.

The rooms

The architect Oscar Lucien Ono of Maison Numéro 20 designed the 35 rooms and suites, drawing on the sea, the sun and the garden. Every one opens onto a private terrace. They range from 24-square-metre Classic rooms to suites of up to 71 square metres that sleep four, in blues and golds that nod to the Cap's light.

At the table

Food is run by Mauro Colagreco, the three-Michelin-starred chef known for circular, plant-led cooking:

• Amarines by Mauro Colagreco, the gastronomic table, serves dinner Wednesday to Sunday
• Miraé by Mauro Colagreco, relaxed and Riviera-Italian in spirit, is open all day
• A bar lounge on the Amarines terrace overlooks the sea from 18:00
• Room service runs around the clock

Slowing down

The heated pool sits among the gardens; a seafront solarium lies a short walk from the hotel. Treatments, yoga, meditation and a sauna complete the wellbeing side, all from 10:00 to 18:00. The hotel is non-smoking throughout.
