A long Riviera story

The Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc has received guests in search of the Riviera's rarer pleasures since 1870. Part of Oetker Hotels, it stands in a wide park at the southern tip of the Cap, crossed by its Grande Allée. In 1914 its famous saltwater pool was carved out of the rock, so that it seems to run straight into the Mediterranean. The estate's oldest wisteria has been flowering for more than 150 years.

Eating and drinking

The choice is broad enough to stay a week without repeating yourself:

• Louroc, the hotel's Michelin-starred restaurant.
• Eden-Roc Restaurant, with a buffet of local specialities alongside the chef's menu.
• The Grill, a contemporary brasserie for lunch and dinner.
• Giovanni's, for Italian cooking beneath a pergola and pines.
• Bar Bellini, looking over the park and the Grande Allée, plus the Grill Bar, La Rotonde, the Eden-Roc Lounge and the Pool Bar.

By the sea

Thirty-three cabanas stand among century-old pines along the shore, for spa treatments, lunch, cocktails or a candlelit dinner. The Dior Spa Eden-Roc takes its cue from the sea, the sun and Mediterranean nature, and there are five tennis courts.

Staying

Beyond the rooms and suites of the main hotel, the estate has private villas, among them Villa Les Cèdres, Villa Eleana, Villa Sainte-Anne and Villa La Guettière.
