At Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, the pool was cut into the rocks in 1914. The Pool Bar serves it: cocktails, coladas and chilled teas carried to your lounger.

The pool in the rock
Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc has welcomed guests at the tip of the Cap since 1870, and its saltwater pool, carved into the cliff in 1914, is the image most people carry away. The water seems to run straight into the Mediterranean. There is a vintage diving board, a trapeze over the bay, and the long line of the horizon.
At the bar
The Pool Bar is built around that scene. The idea is that you stay put: tell the team what you would like and it is made and brought to your sun lounger. There is a list of house cocktails, alcohol-free mixes, coladas, jugs of Pimm's and iced teas for the hottest hours.
Nearby, The Grill and its bar look over the same pool, with long sunset views, and for something sweeter there is the Juice & Ice Cream Bar with house-made sorbets.

The Pool Bar is reserved for hotel guests, and it does not take bookings. It is a residents' pleasure – one of the quiet privileges of a stay at Eden-Roc.
